ABOUT
Animefest, a time and place where animanga lovers, artists, and entertainers celebrate what we love! On February 14, 2026, participants go to the Price Center at UCSD to attend discussion and workshop panels, buy the best artwork, and check out your favorite manga in our manga library! And of course, there will be cosplays, festival games, and video games—all for some otaku fun.

Exhibitor Hall
Browse fanmade merchandise drawn or designed by local artists in the Artist Alley, or check out items sold by industry vendors.
Performances
View live performances including an orchestra and rock band in the East Ballroom.
Cosplay Masquerade
Our annual cosplay contest is held in the East Ballroom.
Raffles
Earn an additional raffle ticket by completing our Scavenger Hunt.
Panels and Game Shows
We have panels and game shows for your enjoyment run by students and alumni. Check them out!
Manga Library
Relax and enjoy reading some of our manga collections in the Roger Revelle room.
REGISTRATION
Admission to Animefest is free for all UCSD affiliates! UCSD affiliates includes undergrads, grad students, employees, and alumni. Please bring proof of UCSD affiliation (such as a ucsd.edu email, student ID, employee ID, or graduation photo) to the event. For attendees who are not UCSD affiliates, there will be a $5 general entry fee. All attendees must register at one of our check-in tables on the day of the event.
PARKING
Unfortunately, parking is not free on UCSD's campus. We recommend you find free parking off campus and walking to campus or taking the bus to campus. We apologize for the inconvenience.
For parking on campus, please take a look at the official campus map, expand Parking by Permit Type, and select Visitor in the menu to see areas where you can park. Please ensure that you park in designated Visitor spots which will be marked on the floor in these areas.
